A reflective Saturday Summary

There's a real charm about this song. the fact its called a little more time so you expect it to be sad but instead its reflective nostalgic and still feels light. sure the lyrics aren't the happiest but something about the delivery of them makes you still feel okay.
If you want my thoughts on the whole album check yesterdays article but my favorite track was doors. Doors immediately brought to mind Noah's desire to apologise to his father, as I discussed this week when reviewing his Netflix documentary. The song is filled with many of those family moments he shared in the documentary, which is why it resonates so deeply. I particularly love the line, "Have you ever shared some closeness so exposed to have it spit back by someone?"
You can hear the emotion in Conan Grays voice throughout this track but the themes and lyrics hit just as hard. after the breakup it can be hard to not reach out when something happens because that was your person you went to for news.
For my full thoughts on the new ep read yesterdays article. with the EP being titled Autumn it felt right that the title track is the one I reviewed first. This track fits nicely in a playlist surrounded by the early works of Taylor Swift. its so reflective, so seasonal and has a feel good catchy vibe that will have you adding it on repeat!
